PT Staff Accountant position 20-30 hours a week

Seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Staff Accountant (Temp) to play a key role in month-end close activities and manage complex invoice processing across multiple entities. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute month-end close tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Manage and process high-volume, complex invoices for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies independently, maintaining clear documentation and audit trails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed while driving tasks to completion autonomously.
• Support ad-hoc accounting projects and deliver timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines without close supervision.
